"Let's ask the turf doc at the college," you're about to say, but picture them all glancing around thinking, "I'm glad it wasn't me who hired this person."

So you say, "Until I've seen the area, I can't say."  Hopefully they'll accept an honest answer, because it's the only one they're going to get.  Riding out to the spot, what are you expecting to see?

Damaged turf areas are most often yellow or brown, that's not going to say a lot, unless there are ATV tracks and beer cans lying around the green.  Shouldn't there be a method, just like solving a crime?
