TPF Member Scholarship Program

About the Program

The Turfgrass Producers of Florida Member Scholarship Program is open to any child or grandchild of an eligible TPF member or to an employee (or employee’s child) of a TPF Member who is nominated by an eligible TPF Member-Sponsor.  One award of $1,000 will be given annually.

Member-Sponsor Eligibility:  The sponsoring TPF member must be an owner or employee of a member company that has maintained active status in the association for at least three (3) years immediately prior to nomination.

Student Eligibility: This scholarship program is open to:

  • High school students completing their senior year;
  • Students who are currently enrolled in or have been accepted into an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university; and
  • Students who are currently enrolled in or have been accepted into an accredited technical degree or certification program.

Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited institution of higher learning as outlined above and provide proof of acceptance or enrollment. Students who have applied to a program or institution but have not yet been notified of acceptance may apply for this scholarship; however, funds will not be released until proof of enrollment is provided to TPF.


  • Applications and all supporting documents must be received by April 30.
  • The Selection Committee will review applications and notify the award recipient by May 30.
  • Funds will be released during the first week of August with proof of enrollment in the program named in the application.
